Tucked away in the quieter side of Surfers Paradise, this cosy café offers a relaxed spot to enjoy thoughtfully prepared food and drinks at a gentle pace. The atmosphere here pulls you back to a simpler time, with an interior reminiscent of the early ’80s, making for a calm and welcoming place to settle in whether you’re dining alone or with friends.
The menu focuses on familiar, comforting fare that suits a leisurely breakfast or a laid-back lunch. People often come for the generous servings of classic brunch items—think smashed avocado on Turkish bread or hearty burgers—as well as a variety of fresh, health-conscious juices with a green apple base. Coffee lovers will appreciate their well-crafted lattes, long blacks, and other espresso variations served alongside cold drinks and smoothies that feel made with care rather than speed.
This is the kind of spot that appeals to those seeking a pause from the usual hustle, whether locals or visitors looking to unwind away from the busier parts of the neighborhood. The owners, an older couple running things at their own steady rhythm, create a welcoming environment where patience is appreciated and the focus remains on genuine, simple hospitality. Accessibility is thoughtfully considered here, with wheelchair-friendly facilities and service designed to be inclusive.
Practical touches like free street parking, a nearby lot, and dog-friendly outdoor seating add to the easygoing vibe. Whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee, a casual breakfast, or a quiet lunch, this cafe offers a sincere local experience that encourages slowing down and enjoying good company, good food, and a moment of calm in Surfers Paradise.

"This small place offers a nice selection for breakfast."
"It has a quaint, family-run vibe with polite service and care."
5 Cafe run by a lovely elderly couple Steven and Gayleen. They are doing their best in their own pace The interior takes you to early 80’s, which is just lovely. They serve really nice food as well. I’m in love! Please be nice and tip them when you’re in!
5 Quiet little cafe, with everything dome right ! Food was fantastic, generous portion sizes and really good value. Great for a slow morning after a long night, or to fuel a long day. 10/10
5 This has to be one of the best cafes in the surfers paradise area. It's not a fast, big Cafe with lots of staff, it's a beautiful couple who make the food with care. My banana smoothie was delicious and very generous. My wife got a vanilla latte which was also great. The BLT (pictured) very generous portion, very fresh ingredients, and was cooked really well. I got the sausage and egg toasted Turkish bread which exceeded my expectations. It's a quiet joint, which presents fantastic value, and seemed to be operated by two people who care.
5 Looks aren’t everything! Our breakfast came out super fast..cooked to perfection, mega large latte, piping hot. $12 for breakfast. Perfect
5 On our first visit to Surfers in May 2025, we found this cafe. So when I came back in Nov 2025, i knew i had to go again. I wished i had been able to visit a few times but my trip wasnt for a holiday, but spending time with a terminally ill relative so i didnt get that chance. Absolutely worth a visit, the breakfast is amazing. The owners are 2 of the nicest and friendliest people i have come across, and they really do have a hidden little gem.
5 2Zing! Cafe was an amazing breakfast stop on my vacation to surfers paradise. The food was perfect, great value, and the service (which seems like it is run by just a husband and wife) was excellent and friendly. In particular, i thought my Pineapple Zing was great for an option other than coffee Would highly recommend this place for a breakfast.
5 I've been coming here for years for breakfast and coffee. Their food is original home cooked and absolutely fantastic. It's a tucked away secret that I will always make the effort to come back to. The owners are super friendly, down to earth people who just want the best for their customer, not the best google rating or Michelin star winning dish. If you're reading this far into the review, I want to also highlight that these guys are not a commercial cafe like what you see down the road in Cavill Ave. They don't have 5 wait staff 2 baristas and a chef, just the two of them running the show. Slow down your expectations or go down the road if you want restaurant dining waiters, but park it right here for a rare opportunity to be served fantastic food by people who care.
People love their generous breakfast dishes, fresh small plates, and great coffee, especially smoothies and lattes made with care.
It's perfect for a relaxed, cosy visit where food is served thoughtfully, but also quick enough for a satisfying stop if you’re on the go.
The cafe has a quiet, calm atmosphere, making it ideal for slow mornings or peaceful afternoons in Surfers Paradise.
